Before hitting the road to begin their fall tour, St. Lucia has just revealed the music video for their latest single titled “Help Me Run Away.”

The clip is directed by NORTON and features a New York couple breaking up. The girl, dressed in some red heels, heads to Los Angeles while the guy, with no shoes on, shrugs it off. However, his white Converse high-tops aren’t taking the breakup too well. They start a wild goose chase across the country to be reunited their “shoe soul-mate.”

Frontman Jean-Phillip Grobler explained the concept to Entertainment Weekly, “The idea of having disembodied shoes running around while I screamed ‘Help Me RUN Away,’ over the top just seemed too perfect not to do.’

Now you might ask, why white Chuck Taylors? “They’re the most classic Rock & Roll shoe,” the singer dished. “I’m not sure any other shoe is more iconic or recognizable than the white Converser All Star High Top. That, and nothing shows up dirty better than white.”
