Selena Gomez may be on Nick Jonas’ mind!

Just yesterday, the Jonas brother dropped a new song titled “Area Code” without any warning. He sings, “You say I’ve never been good for you / You can’t deny I gave it good to you,” switched up the melody as if he’s interpolating Selena Gomez’s new track “Good For You.”

These apparent hints were enough to raise some eyebrows and gather speculations. Then on Twitter, the singer favorited two tweets that clearly linked the two singles together. One of them reads, “Oh my gosh. Nick. Selena. Never thought I’d be saying this again!”

The two stars briefly dated each other while they were still Disney Channel stars and label mates on Hollywood Records. Selena even acted as Nick’s love interest in the Jonas Brother’s 2008 video “Burnin’ Up.” Earlier this summer, Page Six revealed news about an “uneasy reunion” between the stars–a news story that forced Jonas to set the facts straight.

He spoke to Capital FM, “We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other. I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. … It was a big group of people and we all hung out and had a good time. We connect in that sense.”

When asked if he thought of ever getting back together with Selena, he said, “It was nice to connect and just catch up. I’ll leave that there.”
