Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are back again to announce their new album This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, the follow-up to their 2012 breakout The Heist. Their self-released studio LP will arrive February 26 so get ready, thrift shoppers! The duo are also on tour currently; check out the list of tour dates down below.

In the time preceding the album’s announcement, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have shared three singles from the project: “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)” with Ed Sheeran, “Kevin” featuring Leon Bridges, and “Downtown,” a hefty colalboration with Kool Moe Dee, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, and Eric Nally.

Macklemore announced the album with an Instagram post revealing the LP art cover. He also released a dramatic trailer on his official site, which features the Seattle rapper talking about how the album came to be and his motivation for creating new music.

“There is creativity for validation, and there is creativity for survival,” he says while a clip plays of the two working in the studio. He then describes how he left Seattle and journeyed to “the middle of nowhere” to find inspiration and “[make] music not because we had to, but because we got to.”
