Kanye West wasn’t playing any games when he announced that he’d be releasing his own video game called Only One back in February at his Yeezy Season 3 event at Madison Square Garden.

On June 13, the trailer for the Only One video game, inspired by the rapper’s deceased mother Donda West, made its debut across the world at Los Angeles’ Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The 39-year-old described the concept of the game at the album listening party/fashion show, “The idea of the game is my mom traveling through the gates of heaven. I just wanna bring as much beauty to the world as possible.”

During the live E3 broadcast on YouTube, Gameslice.TV host Geoff Keighley said that West previewed the video game to developers at E3 in 2015. The star had an affinity for games even before his love for hip-hop blossomed into a major music career, according to The Fader.

There’s yet to be any info on the video game’s release date or platform so we’ll have to sit tight. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Only One down below!
