It’s definitely been a rough past couple of weeks for Azealia Banks. Her joint-tour with K. Michelle was abruptly cancelled just two weeks after the official tour announcement and now she’s not able to release new music until next year.

The 24-year-old rapper tweeted, “So prospect park has me for management and Label (stupid azealia, right) now Jeff Kwantinttz no longer wants to manage me BUT… is holding me in my album contract until february 2016.” She continued, “There won’t be any new music until March 2016.”

Given the four years fans had to wait for her debut LP Broke With Expensive Taste, a comparatively smal ldelay in releasing her follow-up album Business & Pleasure isn’t a complete tragedy.

However, it will be interesting to see if the rapper is still able to release mixtapes. Banks was planning on releasing a collection of Jay Z remixes and covers titled Slay-Z as well as a hyped sequel to Fantasea, which also features a special Dr. Luke collaboration.
